How to write a useful alpha report

An alpha report is most useful when it tells us what happened, what you expected, and how we can make it happen again.

Choose one route

Choose one route through the early world, then open the playtest checklist and record what worked. Useful routes include registration and login, banking and shops around Lumbridge or Draynor, one complete skilling loop, or basic NPC combat.

Include the useful details

For a problem, include your location, the item or NPC involved, the action you selected, and what appeared in the client. Screenshots help with interface and map problems. A short numbered list is best for behaviour we need to reproduce.

Crashes, login failures, lost progress, duplicated items, and anything that leaves the character unable to continue should be reported first. Post the details on Discord and avoid repeating an action that appears to duplicate or destroy items.
