A new look for Ritual, in game and on the website

Ritual has a new look. The latest website and client updates bring the new gold and crimson logo into the places you use to get started, find something to test and log in.

The updated client is live

The login screen now features Ritual's new logo and an animated gateway background. We've also fixed the background disappearing while connecting to the server.

The world selector has been rebuilt with a clearer list, refresh and sorting controls, and mouse and keyboard navigation. It lists the configured Ritual world and returns you to login when you select it.

Account links now lead to Ritual's website. Create account opens registration, and password recovery opens the Ritual password-reset page. We've also replaced misleading Jagex account and launcher instructions in the login messages with guidance for Ritual accounts.

A refreshed website

The homepage and navigation have been redesigned around the new branding, with matching artwork, buttons and panels across the site. The compact emblem is also used for the mobile logo and site icon.

The playtest guide has had a larger overhaul. It now covers more of the content available to test, with supporting imagery and clearer distinctions between playable activities, partial implementations and planned work. Use it alongside the roadmap to choose what to try next.

How to get the update

Fully close and reopen the Ritual RuneLite launcher. It will download the latest client before starting. Logging out and back in within the same window does not update the client.

If you haven't installed it yet, use the Ritual RuneLite option on the downloads page.

Thanks to everyone who tested the changes and reported problems. If anything looks wrong after updating, let us know through support, with your operating system, what you clicked and a screenshot where possible. Please keep passwords and recovery details out of reports.
