Farming beyond Catherby

13 October 2026

Our September Farming update started with Catherby. The latest expansion opens up a much broader set of routes, from allotment and herb runs to trees, compost and specialty patches.

More places to plant

Allotments, flowers and herbs now have supported patches at Falador, Catherby, Ardougne, Port Phasmatys, Hosidius and Civitas. Hops routes include Yanille, Entrana, Lumbridge, McGrubor Wood and Aldarin.

The crop catalogue includes allotments through snape grass, flowers including white lilies, herbs through torstol, and supported hops from barley to wildblood. Bring your rake, spade, seed dibber, seeds and the watering, compost or cure supplies your crop needs. Growth and patch state are saved between sessions.

Saplings, trees and protection

Nursery production covers 20 supported seeds using filled plant pots, a trowel and a watering can. Not every resulting sapling has a supported ground patch yet, so check the route before preparing a large batch.

Tree planting routes cover Taverley, Falador, Varrock, Lumbridge and the Gnome Stronghold. Fruit-tree routes include the Gnome Stronghold, Tree Gnome Village, Brimhaven and Catherby, with three hardwood patches on Fossil Island. Supported protection payments let you pay the gardener to look after your crop.

Compost and specialty crops

Eight compost-bin locations are covered: Falador, Catherby, Ardougne, Port Phasmatys, Hosidius, Prifddinas, Civitas and the Farming Guild. Compost processing includes the supported supercompost and ultracompost routes, with buckets and volcanic ash used where appropriate.

There are also supported routes for both underwater seaweed patches, the Canifis mushroom patch and the Tai Bwo Wannai calquat patch.

The fixes around the farming run

Snape-grass watered visuals have been corrected, raking no longer keeps animating after the patch is cleared, and gardener conversations and Trade access have received fixes. The full-inventory raking report remains a separate follow-up.

Bush, cactus, potato cactus, belladonna, celastrus, redwood, spirit, crystal and anima ground patches are not included. Tree chopping, stumps and roots remain unfinished; supported gardener removal is available. Growth and disease behaviour still contain approximations.

For the complete list across every skill, read the October update notes. When reporting a Farming problem, name the location and crop and include whether you had logged out while it grew. That makes a patch-specific issue much easier to reproduce.
