A familiar way around the world

13 August 2026

Getting around Ritual should feel familiar before it feels fast. The first transport pass connects the early world through standard spellbook teleports and charged jewellery, with one shared set of rules behind both.

Spellbook destinations

Varrock, Lumbridge, Falador, Camelot, Kourend, Ardougne, Watchtower, Trollheim, and Ape Atoll are wired through the standard spellbook. Rune and item checks are in place, although several quest and diary unlock requirements are still to come.

Jewellery with real charges

The first jewellery families include rings of dueling, amulets of glory, games necklaces, skills necklaces, combat bracelets, rings of wealth, necklaces of passage, digsite pendants, burning amulets, rings of returning, and slayer rings. Inventory and worn actions share the same destination registry, and each trip consumes a charge from the correct item variant.

The pass also separates actions such as Wear, Rub, and a worn destination. It is a small interaction detail, but one players use constantly and notice immediately when it is wrong.

Why this matters for alpha

The network gives playtesters a practical route between banks, training areas, shops, and quest starts. It also gives us one place to improve animations, unlock checks, wilderness warnings, and destination accuracy as the world grows.
